Egypt
Egypt is a country on a crossroad of cultures. In the north, Berber influences mix with trations and costumes from Palestine. The jewelry of the Red Sea Coast clearly show the millenia of trade between Egypt, Sudan and Yemen. In the south, the Nubian jewelry has African details and the long strip of oases show both independent creations as well as trade influences from the caravan routes that passed through these remote areas.
